The arrived in IRELAND MORE THAN 11,000 years ago over the frozen waterways of the last Ice Age walking to Europe's western edge....bone and antlers are often found under the soft bogs that stretch across the central interior of Ireland....this landscape is a natural preservative...when these relics were first found in the 18th century they became a treasure artifact in the great neo-Palladian Estate Houses....some antlers measure twelve to fourteen feet across.
